1950 Fageol Twin Coach Serial #1
SERIAL #1. Fageol Twin Coach. How would you like to own a piece of trucking history? This Fageol truck is a full size working original truck and not a scale model toy. I have never seen a real Fageol listed on Ebay until now. This is serial #1 from 1950. It is a super rare vehicle that any old truck collector will recognize as a highly collectible gem.
This truck comes equipped with a Black Diamond 6 cylinder engine by International. This truck is equipped with a Fruehauf trailer and an International chassis. It has a 5 speed manual trans and only 15,600 miles. It is in excellent running order. The truck also has new brakes, new radial tires and the wheels have recently been powder coated red.
This truck spent 50 years in California and was most recently used by the San Bernardino Valley Junior College as their radio truck. It was purchased by the current owner last year and brought to Illinois.
The storage portion of the truck is insulated and paneled and in great shape. The roof is reinforced for spectator viewing at the vintage races.
There is light surface rust along with minor dents and dings, which is not unusual for the age of this vehicle. All in all, it is in very good shape and starts and drives like new. It is ready to be painted with your color scheme. It is a great way to advertise your business; imagine parking this truck in front of your shop. Traffic would surely increase.
This is a rare opportunity to own a classic truck with a serial #1 pedigree.
